The Portage Township Board of Zoning Appeals hereby gives notice that a public hearing will be held Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the Portage Township Hall, 2501 State Rd., Port Clinton, Ohio.
A variance request (No. BZA2026001) by David T. & Gail M. DeFrance Trustees, 2351 E. Sand Rd., Port Clinton, OH known as and being a part of fractional Section 34, Town 7 North, Range 17 East, Portage Township, Ottawa County, OH and known as 2351 E Sand Rd. The request is to allow a height variance of 19.8 feet in lieu of the permitted 15 feet. See Section 801.03 of the Portage Township Zoning Resolution.
