The Portage Township Board of Zoning Appeals hereby gives notice of a public hearing upon the application to The Portage Township Board of Zoning Appeals, 2501 E. State Rd., Port Clinton, Ohio to consider the following variance requests.
BZA2025001 Bassett Land Company, 205 SE Catawba Rd., Port Clinton, Ohio 43452. Requesting a Density Variance at The Landings on Erie Multifamily Condominium, 1965 E. Harbor Rd., Port Clinton, Ohio. Request consists of increasing the units up to 15 units in lieu
of the calculated and approved 13 units. Said hearing will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Portage Township Hall, 2501 E. State Rd., Port Clinton, OH 43452.
BZA2025002 Bassett Land Company, 205 SE Catawba Rd., Port Clinton, Ohio 43452. Requesting a right side-yard setback to be reduced to 17.2 feet in lieu of the required 20-foot side-yard setback for the purpose of a step for ingress and egress to the patio of unit 9 of The Landings on Erie Multifamily Alternate Condominium. Said hearing will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at the Portage Township Hall, 2501 E. State Rd., Port Clinton, OH 43452.
BZA2025003 Larmar Signs for Jos. Burke, Succ. Trustee, 5030 Advantage Dr., Toledo, OH 43612. Requesting a sign area variance for an Electronic Message Center to be located at 106 SE Catawba Rd., Port Clinton, Ohio. Said variance request is for a 253 square foot electronic message center in lieu of the permitted 200 square foot area. See Section 804.10(1) of The Portage Township Zoning Resolution.
