Notice of Public Hearing

The hearing will be held at the Portage Township Complex. A variance request (No. BZA2024005B) By Bassett Land Co., 1965 E. Harbor Rd., Port Clinton, OH  43452 has been filed and known as being Part of Section 4, T6N, R17E and Section 33, T7N, R17E Portage Township, Ottawa County, Ohio and containing approximately 4.2 acres more or less and being future Unit 15 of The Landings on Erie Multifamily Condominium.  The request is to allow the front yard setback be reduced to twelve (12) feet in lieu of the required forty (40) feet for an already constructed garage.

Review of the application is available at the Portage Township Hall, Zoning Inspector Office, Mondays 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
